Privacy Policy
Applies to every Wear OS watch face that Jesse Hollingsworth publishes on Google Play. Last updated 6 October 2026.
The short version
- These watch faces collect no personal data. Nothing you see on the face is sent to us or anyone else.
- The faces have no program code, no internet access, no analytics and no ads.
- Everything a face shows (time, battery, steps, heart rate, weather and so on) comes from your own watch and stays on your watch.
Who we are
Jesse Hollingsworth is an independent developer who designs watch faces for Wear OS watches and sells them on Google Play. In this policy "we" means Jesse Hollingsworth, and "watch face" means any watch face published by Jesse Hollingsworth.
How these watch faces work
The faces are built with Google's Watch Face Format. A face of this kind is a design: a description of shapes, text, images and settings that your watch draws by itself. It contains no app code, so it cannot open a network connection, run tracking or advertising tools, read your files, or save anything about you.
Data the faces display
To show useful information, a face asks your watch to draw values that the watch already has. Depending on the face and the settings you choose, that can include:
- time, date, time zone, battery level and unread notifications;
- step count, step goal and heart rate from your watch's own sensors and health services;
- weather, sunrise and sunset, moon phase and your next calendar event;
- anything else shown by a complication you pick, such as another app's data or an app shortcut.
These values are drawn on your watch screen and nowhere else. The face does not store, copy, analyse or transmit them. Complications are supplied by your watch's system or by other apps you have installed. Those apps have their own privacy policies.
If your watch asks for permission before a face can show certain data (for example heart rate or calendar events), that request comes from your watch's own software. You can turn the permission off at any time in the watch's settings. The face keeps working and simply shows less.
Your photos
Faces that can display your own pictures (such as Photo Dial) receive them through your watch's own watch-face editor. The photos you choose are stored on your watch and shown only there. We never receive them.
Buying a face on Google Play
Purchases, payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's Privacy Policy. Like every Play developer, we see limited order details from Google (such as an order number, date, price and country or region) and anonymous, combined statistics (such as install counts, ratings and public reviews). We use these only to keep accounts, handle refunds and pay taxes. We never sell or share them.
If you contact us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you. We keep them only as long as needed for that and delete them sooner if you ask.
This website
This site uses no cookies, analytics, trackers or third-party fonts. The company that hosts it may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to run and protect the service. We do not use them to identify or follow anyone.
Children
These watch faces are not directed at children under 13. Because the faces collect no data, they collect none from children either.
Your choices and rights
The watch faces hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete. For purchase records, you can contact Google Play or write to us. Removing a watch face from your watch removes it completely.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will never start collecting data quietly. A face that needed to collect data would say so in its Google Play listing first.
